Favorite Lecture - "I couldn't go on believing her story and live with Stanley"

A Streetcar Named Desire

I have enjoyed many lessons and fishbowls in Professor Brady's class. However, my favorite lesson was Reading “A Streetcar Named Desire”. I extremely enjoyed learning about the author Tennessee Williams and his past. I liked listening and being educated on jazz music and the atmosphere of New Orleans. Sitting all together in a fishbowl and hearing everyone's ideas and opinions on the play was nice. The lesson on Fantasy vs Reality is something I apply to my everyday life. Sometimes I start to realize the people around me are stuck in their fantasy world like Blanche and Stella. I've read this play once before but reading it all together again was pleasant.
